We have a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the Grey Cup Parade for 2018, it will be a fantastic moment to be involved with something very special to people in Edmonton. The event is televised so we will be able to present our club to a wider audience. Having as many people representing the club will be a key focus, there is no age limit and you are encouraged to bring friends.
Please read the attached document which outlines some of the rules and requirements along with identification of the assembly points. The plan for the event is as follows:

REGISTRATION
You will need to register at Norquest College, aim to be there between 10 and 10.30am. After registration you will be directed by the Registration Volunteers to the assembly point.
Assembly Point
Here is where you will be given a club jumper to wear, we will be bringing all the large sized jumpers so that they will fit over your clothing. Feel free to wear your personal Footy jumpers if you have them, any Aussie club colors will look awesome. We will be bringing a selection of all our jumpers so there is plenty of color. Some of you will also be given posters themed for Bringing the Heat.

THE VEHICLE
We will be provided a vehicle and driver by Nissan (thanks Carmen for offering to drive). People will be able to ride in the back of the vehicle, you will need to use your own discretion to keep it safe. We would always like to have at least 2 posters displayed by the people on the back of the truck. The first aid kit will be in the truck cabin.

THE PARADE
We will have our main banner heading our Parade Group so will need a constant rotation of volunteers to walk and hold the banner. Poster will be given out to display by our walkers to show off to the public. We will have a Red, Yellow Men’s and a Women’s Footy moving around among our group. Please do not kick the Footy’s, we will move the ball around the group through handball only. We will also bring some Junior footballs for interaction with the kids in the crowd.

THE GOAL
If we have fun with the event, then it will be a fantastic time and everything will work out. If you have any ideas that you would like to propose for the Bring the Heat theme that you think we could introduce, then please feel free to contact anyone from the Committee.
