We, the Edmonton Australian Football Club, are organizing a fundraiser to help communities in Australia recover following the disastrous bushfires that are currently taking place through a large part of Australia. We are seeking corporate sponsorship, donation of cash, and products or services that can be auctioned during a silent auction at the Pint Downtown’s Australia Day eve function on January 26th. Each of the sponsors, donations and silent auction items will be listed on our website – www.yegfooty.com – and will remain there until well after the event (unless specifically requested). All money raised will be directed to the Salvation Army in Canada who will transfer it to their Australian arm. This way we can provide tax receipts for anyone who donates that requires one.
